Last assignment of the year in my Pictorial Foundation class. It was an experimental portfolio, which, in other words means "Do what you want bitches!". This character has been eating my brain for a while so I vomitted her out on some watercolor paper and then slashed, beat, and raped her with textures in photoshop.
Forgive me, I like bright shiny things.
THis isn't actually what she looks like though, in fact, she looks very much different on a whole, this is just my interpretation of her filtered through the eyes of a psycopath. Who seems to be on drugs 24/7.
Media - watercolor, ballpoint pen, PHOTOSHOP.
Ymir is ....mine, but not really, but kinda. I dunno, I feel like she's not really mine, she's just her own thing that I made for a friend who ran with it. Wee.
Taking your watercolor stuff and doing texturial things on photoshop is creative and sophistacated. Keep up the good work.
the only constructive crit. I got is I wouldnt have cropped the arm and leg that much. I would have added more. In later pieces down the road, I would add more texturial elements to the piece behind the person, wither it is textures themselves or bugs or some kind of smaller creatures to kind of give eye candy to the composition.Thats what I got. Good job Keep up the good work!

Thanks for the crit! I'm just getting used to textures and I never thought of using things like bugs or animals yet,so far I use them as layers, like glass. I'm excited about exploring digitalart as a medium.
